We are sponsoring a tamale festival, so let's have some fun!

You are Invited.

Tamale drawings,  piñatas, tamale rolling demos, henna tattoo artists, a photo booth, fortune telling , and lots of tamales to eat!

Date/Time:  Saturday, March 23rd, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Where:   Leadbetter Beach Picnic Area in Santa Barbara.  (Map)

Note: We are limiting the festival to 125 attendees so you'll enjoy a comfortable and uncrowded event . When all tickets are sold, it will be announced on this page. Tickets will not be available at the event.


Inclement Weather:  If it rains on festival day,  you may  apply  the cost of your ticket(s) toward the purchase  of tamales  from Santa Barbara Tamales-To-Go.

What to Expect...

Your ticket includes a tamale meal served with with escabeche, esquites, and escamocha side dishes, a choice of beverages, and eligibility to win our tamale drawing held every 30 minutes. You might also win the grand prize-- a catered event for 25 guests at your location featuring our Tamale Party Bike! We also have  activities like  tamale rolling demos, henna tattoo artists, fortune telling, a photo booth, and piñatas scheduled throughout the day.

Order Your Tamales-To-Go!

Chicken verde, chipotle pork, chile & cheese, six vegetable, spicy black bean, and chicken mole, We'll have pre-cooked frozen tamales available for taking home from the festival. Place an online order and pick up at the festival's will call booth.  Order now.
